Be prepared for your interview
Have a think about...
You should have a think about the interview process, what you’d like to ask and topics you may wish to prepare for by considering how you might answer questions within those themes.
For more information on the values and behaviours standards required of nurses, please see the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Code.
If you have selected an online interview, you may wish to download Zoom in advance of your interview. Details of how to join your Zoom meeting are in the during your interview section.
If you have chosen an on-campus interview, please refer to the booking email for the location of the interview.

- Scanned images of your educational certificates, for example, GCSE and A-level certificates.

You will receive an email with details on how and where to upload these documents, and how to create an IT account if you haven’t already done so.
ID for your interview

Rearranging your interview
Get in touch with us to reschedule.
We will ensure that you are given plenty of notice about the interview, but due to the large volume of applications we receive, it is important that applicants attend the interview on the date given.
If you have a compelling reason why you can't attend, you will need to contact us by email within 48 hours of receiving your interview date, and we will try to rearrange the interview.
Email: ug.nursing@manchester.ac.uk
Applicants who contact us outside of this period will be placed on a waitlist, and we will endeavour to interview these students in February or March, but there is no guarantee. As the interview is an essential part of the application process, those who fail to attend will have their application withdrawn.
Additional support
Getting additional support for your interview.
If you have a disability and require extra support on the interview day, you must contact the Disability Advisory and Support Service (DASS) at least one week before your interview.
Email: dass@manchester.ac.uk
Tel: +44 (0)161 275 7512
You will need to provide DASS with suitable evidence of your disability one week before the interview. They will then inform us of any arrangements that need to be made for you.
