Facilities

As we're the UK's largest medical school and cover a large geographical area, our students have access to a wide range of excellent learning and training facilities.

Campus facilities

You'll mostly be based at the University's Oxford Road campus in Stopford Building during Years 1, 2 and the Graduate Entry Medicine (GEM) year of our MBChB programmes.

You'll use our clinical skills facilities and also visit community settings and hospitals across the north-west.

Want to visit the campus? Register for an open day.

Alternatively, watch the video below, where Year 4 Medicine student Minahil takes us on a tour of facilities used on the course.

Clinical education campus facilities

In the final three years of our medical programmes, our students are predominantly based at their clinical education campuses rather than on campus at The University of Manchester. These comprise of a main teaching hospital partnered with a network of secondary and primary healthcare facilities and services.
